This mango pie is sweet, warm, and incredibly simple to make. With juicy ripe mangos and a buttery crust, it’s the perfect dessert for summer gatherings or cozy weekends at home.

Ingredients to make Easy Mango Pie recipe
- 4 ripe mangos, sliced
- ½ cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- Juice of ½ lemon
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 store-bought pie crust (for the base)
- 1 store-bought pie crust (for the top lattice)
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon milk
Instructions
1. Make the Filling
- Peel and slice the mangos, then place them in a large mixing bowl.
- Add sugar, cornstarch, and lemon juice.
- Mix gently until the mango slices are evenly coated.
2. Assemble the Pie
- Place one pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish and press it gently into the edges.
- Pour the mango mixture over the crust.
- Sprinkle cinnamon evenly over the top of the filling.
- Slice the second crust into strips and arrange them in a criss-cross (lattice) pattern on top.
3. Add the Egg Wash
- In a small bowl, beat the egg and mix with the milk.
- Brush this mixture over the top crust to give it a beautiful golden color when baked.
4. Bake
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Bake the pie for 30 to 45 minutes, or until the crust is golden and crisp.
5. Cool and Serve
- Let the pie cool for at least 15–20 minutes before slicing.
- Serve warm on its own or with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
