Mango Churro Eton Mess recipe

A playful twist on the classic Eton Mess, this version adds tropical mango and crispy churro pieces to layers of whipped cream and crunchy meringue  creating a heavenly dessert that’s both rich and refreshing.

Ingredients of Mango Churro Eton Mess recipe

  • 1 large ripe mango, diced
  • 4 churros, torn into large pieces (reserve 4 for garnish)
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream, whipped to stiff peaks
  • 1 cup meringues, lightly crushed

Instructions

1. Make Mango Sauce

  • Place half of the diced mango into a blender or food processor.
  • Blend until smooth to make a mango sauce.

2. Flavor the Whipped Cream

  • Add half of the mango sauce to the whipped cream.
  • Gently fold it in until well combined  don’t overmix.

3. Assemble the Layers

  • In four small glasses or dessert bowls, start layering:
    • Mango-flavored whipped cream
    • Crushed meringue
    • Remaining diced mango
    • Torn churro pieces
  • Drizzle some of the reserved mango sauce over each layer.
  • Repeat the layers until the glasses are full.

4. Garnish and Serve

  • Top each serving with one of the reserved churro pieces for a decorative finish.
  • Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 2 days.
