  • 1 sachet (25g) mango-flavored jelly powder
  • 5 cups water
  • 1/3 cup sugar (optional)

Instructions

  1. Puree the mango in a blender or food processor until smooth.
  2. Bloom the gelatin by pouring 1/2 cup of the water into a small bowl and sprinkling the gelatin powder over the top. Stir to combine and let sit for 5 minutes, until the gelatin has softened.
  3. In a medium saucepan, combine the mango puree, remaining water, sugar (if using), and bloomed gelatin. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring constantly until the gelatin has dissolved.
  4. Remove the saucepan from the heat and pour the mixture into a mold or individual serving cups.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until the jelly is set.

Tips

  • For a richer flavor, you can use mango nectar or mango juice instead of water.
  • You can also add other ingredients to your mango jelly, such as diced mango, shredded coconut, or tapioca pearls.
  • To make a creamy mango jelly, you can fold in whipped cream or yogurt after the jelly has set.
